This on-line course provides fundamental ski and snowboard coaching training. It covers the areas of coaching philosophies and ethics, athlete safety, long-term athlete development and the USSA Training Systems, teaching sport skills, coaching at competition, and communication. The course is required for USSA member coaches who have not completed the first level of certification in their sport through USSA. It may also be used for Level 100 and 200 coaches for continuing education credit.
The course is updated annually.
