Description
The Level 100 moguls coach certification requires review of the Level 100 Freestyle Mogul Fundamentals Coaching Manual and the Freestyle Training Systems introduction addendum (both delivered electronically as pdf documents) and passing the Level 100 Moguls on-line exam with a score of 80% or better. The manual, addendum and exam are purchased together here. In addition, coaches must achieve and maintain First Aid and CPR certification. The Level 100 Freestyle Mogul Fundamentals Coaching Manual covers the role of the freestyle coach, coaching methodology and lesson planning. It then covers freestyle skiing fundamentals, broken down into four key areas: stance and posture, turns, absorption and extension and jumping. Included are many fundamental skiing drills in each area, as well as a glossary of terms. The Freestyle Training System addendum helps coaches understand the principles of long-term athlete development of a moguls skier and the critical periods of development in key domains that are related to age and growth.
